At the dental lounge, we really take good care of you! Your health and comfort is our main concern. You can be assured of complete relaxation while you are at the lounge! Our sterilization is at par with the international standards. All our staff involved in patient care, use appropriate protective garb such as gloves, and masks.

The floors of the dental lounge is thoroughly cleaned with phenol every morning before the first patient walks in, windows are shut completely, preventing dust from entering the lounge. All furniture is cleaned and dust-free. Machinery is cleaned meticulously with disinfectant solutions. Before the first appointment of the day, the lounge has a new look and a fresh potpourri smell lingers through the day.

Sterilization of instruments:
Needless to say, all disposables like needles, syringes, glasses, gloves, suction tips etc. are discarded after every use.

Disposables:
A fresh new pair of gloves is worn for each and every patient. On completion of the procedure, the gloves are disposed off, hands are thoroughly washed and a new pair of gloves is used for the next patient.

 

 

For local anesthetics, every needle and syringe used is opened from its original sterilized pack in front of the patient. Needles are later destroyed completely with a needle destroyer.

All other disposables are disposed immediately after treatment in airtight bins.

Non-disposables:
The non- disposable instruments are treated by what we cal a 3-tier system:

Tier 1: All instruments are cleaned thoroughly with spirit swabs
